Affordable yet effective dash cam (5/5 Stars)
After almost getting into an accident I decided to get a dash cam but didn't want to spend a lot of money on one. I really liked that this one had all the functionality I needed without paying extra for a display screen or other unnecessary additions. It does what I need it to do which is record high quality looped video onto an SD card. The image looks great for both day and night shots, and the camera will lock the footage if it senses an accident. They've cleverly gotten around needing a screen by using an app that connects via WiFi to view the input in real time. There's a useful remote button that lets you trigger photo or video recording. I also like the idea that if the device is damaged in such a way that it's difficult to get to the SD card you could get at the footage via the app. It's also nice that it's so compact and easy to install out of the way.
